Adventure Anthology 1 Finished!

We're delighted to announce that the final PDF of Adventure Anthology 1 has been sent out to backers! You will have received an email with a download link, but you can also download the PDF directly from BackerKit.

Final Adventure Anthology 2 PDF Coming Soon

The final pieces of art for Adventure Anthology 2 are currently in progress. We'll send that out when it's ready (should be some time in the next month) and that will wrap up the stretch goals for this Kickstarter!

Thanks so much for your patience while we've been working on these short adventures. They grew significantly beyond what we originally envisaged, but we're really proud of the end result. We hope you enjoy reading and playing them!

Adventure Anthology Print Editions

As noted in the Kickstarter campaign description, all backers will receive the final PDFs of the two Adventure Anthologies, containing the 8 short adventures that were unlocked as stretch goals. Once complete, the Anthology PDFs will also be available on general sale to non-backers.

We're also going to publish the two Adventure Anthologies in print, as a pair of hardcover books matching the size and specs of the other OSE books. We don't have a firm publication date as yet, but they should be going to print before the end of the year.

Shrine of the Oozing Serpent

We're excited to announce that the eighth and final short adventure stretch goal—Shrine of the Oozing Serpent by Nate Treme—has been sent out to backers! You will have received an email with a download link, but you can also download the PDF directly from BackerKit.

Illustration is already in the expert hands of Peter Pagano. There'll also be a full page colour painting of the dragon Sootmurk and her amphibious minions, which Jacob Fleming is working on currently.

Adventure Anthologies Nearly Finished!

Once the art for Shrine of the Oozing Serpent is in, we'll be doing a final round of proofreading before sending out the final versions of the two Adventure Anthology PDFs to backers! We'd expect that to be in about a month or so.

The Comet That Time Forgot Illustrated

We're excited to announce that the art (by Stefan Poag) for the short adventure stretch goal The Comet That Time Forgot by D. M. Wilson and Sarah Brunt is now complete! An updated PDF has been sent out to backers. You will have received an email with a download link, but you can also download the PDF directly from BackerKit.

Adventure Anthology 1 Nearly Finished!

With the art for The Comet That Time Forgot in place, Adventure Anthology 1 is now nearly complete! The updated PDF (v0.8) now also includes a gorgeous full page colour illustration by Jacob Fleming, full PDF bookmarks, back cover text, etc. We'll be doing a final proofreading round before sending out the really final version of the PDF, but wanted to share this nearly final version in the meantime.

Also included in the updated Adventure Anthology 2 PDF is the fantastic cover art by Frank Scacalossi. This depicts a scene from the eighth and final stretch goal adventure—Shrine of the Oozing Serpent by Nate Treme. Speaking of which...

Shrine of the Oozing Serpent

This adventure has now been edited and play tested, and is just entering layout. When layout is done, we have the wonderful Peter Pagano lined up to illustrate the adventure. Once this is complete, we'll send out final PDFs of the two Adventure Anthologies, bringing a close to the stretch goal adventures!

Again, apologies that development of these adventures has taken longer than expected. As is the often way with such things, they've grown beyond the initially envisaged scope so have taken a lot more effort across the board to complete. We think it's totally been worth it, though, as the end result—the two 64 page Adventure Anthologies—is going to be fantastic.

We'll keep you posted.

We have a few updates today on the short adventure stretch goals.

Cathedral of the Crimson Death

We're excited to announce that the seventh short adventure stretch goal—Cathedral of the Crimson Death by Diogo Nogueira—has been sent out to backers! You will have received an email with a download link, but you can also download the PDF directly from BackerKit.

We'll be sending the adventure off to the fabulous Justine Jones for illustration shortly. Many of you will recognise her art from Diogo's previous OSE adventure, the Ennie award winning Halls of the Blood King.

The Ravener's Ghat Illustrated

The Adventure Anthology 2 PDF now also includes the final illustrations for The Ravener's Ghat, with art by the fantastic Sajan Rai. Here's a little sample of that.

Shrine of the Oozing Serpent

The 8th and final stretch goal short adventure—Shrine of the Oozing Serpent by Nate Treme—is in the last stages of editing before being sent off for play testing. We're expecting to be ready to send out the PDF for this adventure (also as part of Adventure Anthology 2) around 2 months from now. Following that, the adventure will be illustrated, and the two Adventure Anthologies finalised. Once everything is finished, we'll send out the final PDFs along with an update here.

We also wanted to note that development of these adventures has definitely taken longer than expected.
